1.) Warehouse Assistant
Locations: Borno and Adamawa
Person Specification
Applied Skills / Knowledge and Expertise:
Essential:
- A Diploma or Higher Diploma or Degree in Administration or related field from a recognized institution.
- Familiar with the INGO sector
- Familiar with Warehouse and commodity management in a similar role
- Demonstrable numerical skills
- Good with Microsoft excel and other packages
- Ability to use commodity reporting software such as Last Mile Application
- Flexible and willing to work in a remote setting
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Desirable:
- The ability to communicate in the local language is desirable.
- Familiar with the northeast context.
Digital / IT competencies required:
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint Choose an item. Web content design & development
- Internet-based collaboration tools and video calling
- Social Media
Decision Making:
- The ability to make day-to-day decisions to assist in the administration and smooth running of the Warehouse.

3.) Finance Coordinator
Locations: Borno
Applied Skills / Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:
- The role holder will hold a Finance / Accounting Degree (or equivalent) and a qualified member of a recognised accounting body (ICAN, ACCA)
- 5-7 years experience working in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of grant management for institutional donors particularly the UN World Food Programme
- Good experience in financial accounting for Stock and other Gifts-in-Kind
- Good experience working with accounting software such as SUN.
- Experience working in North-East Nigeria.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of working with NGOs providing similar responses in the North East Region
- Experience working with key institutional donors
- Understanding of partnership approach to international development.

Essential:
- Educated to at least National Diploma level in a relevant field.
- Valid driving license and any other documentation required to drive a vehicle in that capacity.

- Familiar with the INGO sector
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good knowledge of road network in southern Borno, and across Christian Aid focal states.
- Good communication skills.

- Experience working with the humanitarian section around the said environment.
- The ability to speak the local language is desirable.
