Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Higher Diploma in Science or Engineering.
  • Possess minimum of 5 years active experience in Oil and Gas QAQC activities for Drilling and Completion, Intervention, Production and facilities.
  • Demonstrate background and thorough knowledge to codes such as ANSI, B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME Section V and IX, API 1104.
  • Familiar with NDT methods, visual, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, radiography, vacuum box testing. ASNT/PCN level II RT, UT, MT, PT, RFI (Radiographic Film Interpretation) certification can be an advantage.
  • Familiar with welding processes, AWS – CWI or CSWIP 3.1 – Level 2 Certified welding inspector certification can be an advantage.
  • Computer literate with competency in Microsoft Office applications – including Word, Excel, and the inclusion of digital photographs for use in recommendations and reporting is required.
  • IWCF certification is not required but can be an advantage.
  • Experience in multiple operational environments -Land and Swamp, Shallow water and offshore is and added advantage.
  • Willing to travel and spend >50% of the time in the field locations.

3.) Head of ECOM

Location: Lagos

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Relevant certification in Project Management.
  • Must have at least 15 years oil and gas experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role managing large scale projects.
  • Must be a member of COREN or NSE.
  • Clear understanding of EPC.
  • Clear understanding of engineering design across disciplines.
  • Strong Analytical abilities.
  • People Management.
  • Business knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
  • Project and Programme management skills.
  • High level of integrity.

4.) Regulatory Compliance Officer

Location: Lagos

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in any related discipline
  • 3 – 5 years of cognate post-NYSC experience
  • Experience in the upstream industry is mandatory especially in the areas of administrative documentation and Oil and Gas Licensing / permitting process will be an added advantage
  • Relevant professional Certification would be an added advantage.
  • Experience of liaising with external parties such as government departments, regulatory authorities, and service providers.
  • Knowledge of Nigeria’s administrative process for companies under the CAMA and CAC processes
  • Knowledge of r and standard administrative documentation processes such as TCC, NSITF,
  • Knowledge of oil and gas Licensing and Permitting process with regulatory bodies (DPR, NCDMB)
  • Knowledge of engineering professional bodies related to oil and gas in Nigeria NSE, COREN, COMEG, ISPON etc.
  • The ability to perform the administrative functions attached to a specific job such as correspondence, documentation management and general administration
  • Effective time and resources management.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, and relationship building skills to effectively collaborate well with colleagues, or stakeholders. This is also particularly important as regulatory officers need to communicate key regulatory changes and updates.
