The Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN) is a leading and reputable non-governmental organization addressing infectious and non-infectious diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and cancer through the provision of prevention, diagnosis, treatment, capacity building, research, and care and support services.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Finance and Administration Manager
Location: Nigeria
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant with a minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience
- At least seven years of experience in a bi-lateral or multi-lateral agency financed project in Nigeria (or an African country)
- Knowledge and expertise in project preparation, commercial negotiations, financial management, internal controls/systems development, accounting, auditing and reporting
- Efficient in solving problems with sound judgement.

2.) Nutrition Specialist
Location: Nigeria
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in a Nutrition / Public Health with minimum of five years of post-Masters’ experience
- Experience in nutrition related issues with multi-sectoral teams in the country.
- Familiarity with analytical tools and ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical approaches for operational work Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English.
- Knowledge of other Nigerian languages will be an asset.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nutrition, Medicine, Sociology, MBA).
- At least 10 years of field experience managing development projects.
- Experience managing projects with a focus on behavior change would be an asset.

4.) Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Requirements
- Master’s Degree in relevant fields (Statistics, Economics, Demography, Anthropology, Development Planning or Social Work, Epidemiology)
- At least five years of progressive experience of monitoring and evaluating public health/nutrition or any large social sector programs
- Experience in the use of monitoring and evaluation techniques and methodologies including, conducting operations research, household surveys and qualitative assessments; data analysis, interpretation and reporting
- Proficient with analytical tools and software such as Stata, SPSS, MS Excel, etc.

Requirements
- Master’s Degree or Equivalent in Engineering, Sciences, Accounting with training in Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- At least seven (7) years experience in procurement planning and management in private sector / international organizations
- Strong credibility, integrity and efficiency in procurement of health-sector goods and commodities
- Skilled in the use of ICT tools for inventory, logistics and supply chain management

6.) COVID-19 Vaccination State Coordinator, (COVAX State Coordinator) TB-LON 3 Project
Locations: Lagos & Oyo
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of TB-LON 3 COVID-19 immunization scale-up activities in the State.
- Coordinate the engagement, involvement and linkages of key partners in the State & LGAs to participate in COVAX program.
- Facilitate state COVID 19 vaccination situation assessment exercise and support the State/LGA team to develop COVAX activity plan.
- Coordinate the implementation of COVAX activity plan in all the engaged LGAs in the State.
- Support the State in capacity building of healthcare workers on RCCE to integrate COVID risk communication and vaccine promotion messages into facility service provisions in the state.
- Represent TB LON 3 on relevant COVID-19 committees and technical working groups in the state.
- Support TB LON 3 state SI Coordinator to verify COVAX data; and appropriately use data for program review to improve quality and increase performance.
- Supervise TB LON 3 LGA COVAX monitors in the state.
- Collate LGA reports on COVAX activities and produce periodic reports on COVAX implementation in the state.
- Any other duties as assigned by COVAX Manager or TB LON 3 Management
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of a Degree in Medical, Health or Social Sciences. Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of COVID-19 epidemiology and vaccination program.
- At least three years of professional experience working in public health or vaccination programs.
- Experience in working with key state health stakeholders.
- Experience with USAID or any other donor will be an advantage.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as presentation skills, with proven experience in analyzing data and developing PowerPoint presentations and other reports.

- Strong coordination, planning, networking and supervisory skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as presentation skills, with proven experience in analyzing data and developing PowerPoint presentations and other reports.

Educational Qualifications
