LASU  – Preparatory to the commencement of the online screening exercise for the newly admitted candidates for the 2021/2022 academic session, which is scheduled for Monday, 20th June 2022, the Directorate of ICT, with the approval of the vice chancellor, on Friday conducted a training exercise for concerned officials of the university.

The exercise, which had in attendance deans of faculties, faculty officers and staff of the DICT and Admissions Office, was aimed at appraising them on the workings of the LASU Central Admission Clearance Application (LACACA) to ensure a smooth clearance exercise.

The training session was led by director, DICT, Prof. Oluwatoyin Enikuomehin, who used the occasion to enrol the deans on the platform and announced the designation of staff of the DICT to each faculty to assist the deans and faculty officers deal with any technical issues that might arise throughout the process.

The clearance process is expected to be initiated by the candidate on the university website in this order: Login, verify biodata, upload credentials, view notifications of Clearance progress, print clearance report.

The training, facilitated by the Admissions Office under the leadership of Mr. Kabiru Okugbesan, took place at the Zenith ICT Centre, main campus, Ojo. The clearance exercise will last for two weeks, ending on Monday 4th June, 2022.
